Final touches to new clubhouse

Evesham Rowing Club is putting the final touches to its new clubhouse as months of building work comes to a successful end.

The inside has been transformed during the winter into a top level sports facility with gym, weights room, new changing facilities and a fabulous function room overlooking the River Avon.

The first event to make use of the new facilities is the annual Regatta that takes place on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30.

Thousands of visitors are expected to converge on the town to an event that is eagerly anticipated and is the first major regatta after the winter training season.
