Club Access – New membership fobs
Posted on December 1, 2007 | Filed under The club
The new club access system has arrived. After Christmas the old system will be disabled.
The upgrade is a much better solution. All parts of the system will be located on the first floor - above flood level. The new system provides greater security and over time has a lower cost to maintain. The new “fob” does away with the need to issue new cards each year.
- key fob will control access to the club (now) and tennis court lighting (very soon).
- The fobs are not cheap and will be issued on receipt of a £10 deposit per fob.
- Should you decide to leave the club please return the fob for a full refund.
- Loss of a fob must be reported immediately so that it can be disabled. Lost fobs will have to be paid for.
- The system is extendable and may be used in the future, for example, to enable “pay and play” or restrict Car Park access to only club members.
