Flood Warning
Posted on November 10, 2008 | Filed under The club
A flood warning for the Avon has been issued at 5.30 am Monday morning (10th Nov). The water is flooding Workman Gardens and is approaching the balcony support pillars at the club.
Rowers should be prepared to help if as is likely the Flood Plan is triggered and movement of boats is required. If closure of the club is required this will be notified here.
At 5.30 am the river was at 2.46m on the Evesham gauge and rising. A peak of 2.8m has been suggested. This would put it at Boathouse door level.
