Rowing

Beginners

All new rowers are admitted via our learn-to-row courses. All rowers must be able to swim at least 100m unaided – this will be checked during a capsize drill in a local swimming pool. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement.

Adults – The course is 12 weeks and costs £105 (which includes the cost of the capsize drill). To put your name on the waiting list for the next course please contact [email protected]

Juniors – we work with the local high schools in Evesham to deliver rowing during the Spring term. We also run learn-to-row and beginners’ courses for Year 8 (junior 13) and above. There is a waiting list for the course. If you would like to put your name down for rowing please supply the following details:

Full name
Date of Birth
Home address
Telephone number
School attended
Confirmation that you can swim 100m unaided

The course is 12 weeks long and costs £85 per person. Please note, priority is given to children who attend schools that do NOT provide rowing as a PE option. Our coaching and equipment resources are very limited and we offer rowing to children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to take up the sport in school.
